President Park Geun-hye will hold summit talks with leaders of the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in South Korea's second-largest city of Busan late this year, her office said Tuesday.
South Korea plans to further boost a strategic partnership with ASEAN through the special summit set for Dec. 11-12, the presidential office said.
The planned summit is designed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue between South Korea and ASEAN, said presidential spokesman Min Kyung-wook. (Yonhap)
