Samsung Medison released the ultrasound diagnosis system RS80A, which allows improved image quality and functions for increased diagnostic confidence.

The RS80A’s S-Vision Architecture engine creates a high-definition image while the 23 inch LED monitor provides clearer and brighter images. Its S-Detect program can detect the breast lesions with a single click. Therefore, the device is suitable for point-of-care diagnosis on the heart, stomach, and cardiovascular and thyroid areas, the medical appliance maker said.

The RS80A will be released in the Korean, European and Southeast Asian markets by the end of the month, and will be introduced in the U.S. next month.
