However, another fan, identified by Twitter ID @r2r2r248, argued that “Nobody can force Baekhyun to feel a certain way” though it was “natural” for fans to feel mad, sad and disappointed. 


According to local news reports, the couple’s fans may have known that they have been dating for months.

Some fans claim that it is no surprise that the idols are an item, eagerly posting photos of the two wearing the same bracelets, headphones and sunglasses.

There have also been numerous firsthand accounts online about the alleged couple being sighted together on dates.

Earlier in the day, the rumor surfaced that Taeyeon and Baekhyun have been dating for four months.

The news broke after Korean online entertainment news outlet Dispatch unveiled photos of the two in a car, supposedly on a date, that were taken around dawn near EXO’s accommodations in Seoul.

Taeyeon reportedly headed to Baekhyun’s dormitory, located in eastern Seoul at 2 a.m. to pick him up. They parked the car on a side road, where the alleged couple enjoyed time together.

“Baekhyun has said that Taeyeon was his ideal type, and Taeyeon found him cute. At the end of last year, they confessed their feelings to each other and started a romantic relationship in February this year,” a source familiar with the two was quoted as saying.

About three hours later, SM Entertainment, the nation’s largest entertainment agency and EXO and Girls’ Generation’s label, confirmed the romantic relationship between the two young celebrities.

“They have been close as a senior and junior, but recently started to have feelings for each other. The relationship is in its early stage,” said an official from the agency.
