Seoul Players is seeking scripts and actors for its fourth Ten Minute Play Festival in September.
The group is looking for 10-minute scripts for the festival. Writers can be based either in Korea or abroad, but the plays should be in English. Around 15 plays will be chosen to be performed at the festival.
Directors of all levels of experience are invited to apply. The application deadline for director applicants and scripts is Saturday.
There will be auditions from June 28-29 for acting parts in the plays. Would-be actors will be given several short pieces to read, either alone or with a partner. Directors will then choose the actors they want at the end of the auditions.
There will be four 45-minute audition slots starting on the hour from 2-5 p.m. on June 28 and 3-6 p.m. on June 29 at Camarata Music Company’s studio in Haebangchon.
To audition, email auditions@seoulplayers.com to confirm which slot you will be attending. Those looking for a singing part should include that in their email and be prepared to sing a one-minute song of their choice at the end of the audition.
