KT&G Corp. said on Monday that it would extend sales of its limited edition This Africa cigarettes.

The country’s largest tobacco producer in December launched a special edition called “Winter Camo” with the package designed in camouflage patterns.

Due to popular demand, it will extend the sales of the packs in the country’s largest cities until the end of this month, the company said.

Launched in September 2013, This Africa is the latest in KT&G’s popular This lineup. It uses smoke-dried leaves roasted in the “traditional” African style, and fashion street magazine Cracker Your Wardrobe participated in the package design, according to the company.

Thanks to its unique scent with a slight hint of sweetness, the new edition is gaining popularity, in particular among young adults, an official from the company said. A 20-pack is priced at 2,500 won ($2.30).
