Novalac, a powdered milk brand sold by Green Cross, is designed to offer a soothing formula for infants that are often prone to stomach aches and diarrhea because they aren’t able to properly digest powdered formula.

Novalac was first exclusively introduced here in 2007 by Green Cross, which brought it in from France-based United Pharmaceutical.

A team of experts including nutritionists and psychiatrists helped to develop the formula after taking into consideration the different symptoms of indigestion in infants.

Novalac is soft on a baby’s stomach, but at the same time contains all the necessary nutrients, Green Cross said.

The formula is manufactured at United Pharmaceutical facilities, which have received ISO 9001:20001 and HACCP2 certifications. Novalac is also subject to more than 700 types of quality tests.

Novalac is currently the No. 1 powdered milk for babies in France, and is sold in 50 countries worldwide.

Green Cross imports Novalac in six types, with Stage 1 and Stage 2 focused on offering nutritious balance for less sensitive infants. Novalac AD is for babies with diarrhea, while Novalac AC helps reduce stomach aches. Novalac AR is for babies prone to nausea, and Novalac IT is recommended for those suffering from constipation.
