23일 유지태와 김효진의 소속사 나무엑터스 측은 “현재 김효진은 임신 4~5주차다. 최근 유지태와 김효진 부부가 임신 소식을 알게 돼 매우 기뻐하고 있다”고 밝혔다.

이어“최근 영화 임상수 감독의 신작 `우리에겐 오늘이 없다`에 출연할 예정이었지만, 부득이하게 하차하게 됐다”고 전했다.

김효진이 무리가 가지 않는 선에서 화보 등 태교와 병행하는 활동을 이어갈 예정이라고 덧붙였다.

김효진과 유지태는 지난 2003년 광고 촬영하며 처음 만나 2007년부터 본격적으로 교제를 시작했다. 2011년 결혼에 골인했다.

Actress Kim Hyo-jin, wife of actor Yoo ji-tae, is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

“Kim Hyo-jin is about four to five weeks pregnant. The couple is very delighted to hear the news,” their agency Namoo Actors Co. announced on Monday.

The pregnant star was recently chosen for the lead role in the upcoming movie “There Is No Today,” directed by Im Sang-soo, but decided to turn down the part due to her pregnancy. “She will continue her other career (by participating in) ... photo shoots and will receive parental education at the same time,” her agency said.

The celebrity couple first met in 2007 while shooting a commercial and tied the knot in 2011 after dating for four years.
