Global business leaders to discuss Seoul tourism

The general meeting of the Seoul International Business Advisory Council will be held at City Hall on Friday to discuss ways to specialize Seoul’s entertainment and tourism businesses.
Themed “Establishing Seoul as the Model of Tourism and Entertainment,” global experts will discuss ways to better promote Seoul’s entertainment and tourism industries and combine them with information technology.
About 150 participants and 19 SIBAC members will join the 13th annual meeting, including Dominic Barton, the global managing director of McKinsey & Company, and Nobuyuki Koga, the chairman of the board of Nomura Holdings and Securities.
SIBAC, the economic policy consultative body for the Seoul mayor, was founded in 2001 to receive advice and support from global business leaders. The council currently comprises of 27 chief executive officer members from abroad and five consultants.
