Siemens Korea on Monday named Christoph M. Aebischer as the company’s vice president and head of the building technologies division.
Aebischer formerly served as regional head of fire safety and security solutions for the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, after heading the building automation division of the Hong Kong and Macau operations of Siemens.
He joined Siemens Switzerland as a service engineer and accumulated extensive experience in various sectors, including product management, sales marketing and business development, Siemens Korea said in a statement.
“I am glad to take office in Korea, where people have high demand for intellectual and integral solutions for building automation,” the Swiss vice president said.
Siemens is headquartered in Berlin and Munich, Germany, with around 370,000 employees in 190 countries worldwide. The company provides products and solutions in industry, infrastructure and cities, energy and health care.
