The hallyu starlets of Girls’ Generation recently wrapped up their first solo concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of the ladies’ “Girls’ Generation World Tour ~ Girls & Peace.”
The performance took place at the Mata Elang International Stadium at Ancol Dreamland on Saturday night, attracting around 12,000 fans in a sold-out crowd, according to representatives of the group’s entertainment agency S.M. Entertainment.
Girls’ Generation performed 25 songs including “Gee,” “Tell Me Your Wish,” “Oh!,” “Flower Power” and the ladies’ most recent hit single “I Got A Boy,” which was released in January as the lead track on the group’s fourth studio album of the same name.
The ongoing world tour is Girls’ Generation’s fifth concert tour and first world tour. The “Girls & Peace” world tour kicked off with two local performances in Seoul in June and has since taken the group to Taipei, Taiwan, before their show in Jakarta over the weekend.
The group will soon head to Singapore where they will perform one show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Oct. 12 before heading to Hong Kong in November.
