Koo named to board of national contemporary dance company

Koo Cha-hoon, chairman of the board of directors of the LIG Arts Foundation, on Thursday was appointed a member of the board of directors of the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said. Koo will serve the post for three years.
Koo is also the chairman of LIG Investment and Securities, and has been engaged in nurturing the arts in the country including dance. In 2012 he received the Mecenat of the Year award in 2012. In 2007 he received a special award at the 2007 Dance Critics Awards.
