Athletes participating in the Incheon Indoor and Martial Art Games have been captivated by the beauty of Korean women. Some even made reference to Snow White. Many South Asian men are known to prefer Korean, Chinese and Japanese women with fair skin, but this time Middle Eastern athletes joined the club.
Abbas Qali, a 20-year-old from the Kuwaiti national swimming team, spoke about his knowledge of Korea before arriving here.
“Korea is well known as an IT powerhouse. Ask anyone in the Middle Eastern countries, everyone will know Samsung or PSY,” he said.
Following this comment, Qali added: “Korean women are the most charming, more than Thai women, Chinese or Indonesian.”
Octavianus Caisar, a futsal player from Indonesia, also said the beauty of Korean women was his most enduring impression of Korea.
“In Korea, women are beautiful. They have snow-white skin,” said the 25-year-old.
“Even I know Super Junior or Big Bang. Football star Ji-sung Park is also renowned,” he continued, adding that after the games he would reunite with some Indonesian friends living in Korea.
As the Games are approaching the closing stages, many athletes are going sightseeing, as the organizing committee is providing complimentary tour services.
After the last game we will go on the tours,” said Maxsumov, the Uzbekistan futsal team coach.
