China wins men’s freestyle relay, pushes gold count to 4

China won the gold medal in the men’s 4X100-meter freestyle relay at the Incheon Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games on Monday, with a new Games record of 3 minutes 15.74 seconds.
China’s qualifying time was 3 minutes 20.89 seconds, the fasted time in the preliminaries.
With the win, China took four of the seven gold medals on offer on the second day of the 25-meter short course swimming.
China was followed by Hong Kong, whose team cut its qualifying time by about 4 seconds to 3 minutes 18.62 seconds. The bronze medal from the category went to Indonesia with a finishing time of 3 minutes 19.10 seconds.
The Southeast Asian nation‘s squad had joined the finals in sixth place. Kazakhstan’s team was disqualified.
