Gwangju International Center is running a new round of Korean classes from July 6 to Aug. 23.
The classes range from beginner to advanced. Regular courses are available on Wednesday and Friday mornings, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, or on Saturday mornings.
Two specialist classes, on grammar and punctuation, are available on Wednesday mornings and a class based on Korean pop culture runs on Saturday afternoons.
There are basic classes for kids that run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and on Saturday afternoons. Classes for the Test of Proficiency in Korean are available at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels on Saturday afternoons or in the mornings from Tuesday to Wednesday.
Private tutoring is also available.
Course fees range from 70,000 won to 200,000 won depending on the course, and admission is only open to GIC members. Membership is 20,000 won. Registration can be made online or in person, including on the day of the class.
