Scoot Airlines, a Singapore-based low-cost airline, launched its inaugural flight to Seoul on Wednesday.

“Korea has positioned itself as an attractive travel destination thanks to its remarkable economic growth and cultural influence around the world. Seoul is one of Asia’s hottest destinations with diverse attractions, food and shopping experience. I am happy to say Seoul is our 11th destination,” said Campbell Wilson, CEO of Scoot, said at a ceremony celebrating the inaugural flight at Incheon International Airport on Wednesday.

Scoot Airlines operates services between Incheon and Singapore three times a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, stopping en route at Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport. Passengers depart Incheon at 11:45 p.m., drop by Taiwan Airport at 1:25 a.m., transfer to another plane and arrive at Singapore around 6:45 a.m. For more information, visit www.flyscoot.com.
