A 34-year-old business consultant-turned professional Psy impersonator, Denis Carr, created a stir at the Cannes Film Festival last week as he managed to dupe people into believing that they were speaking with the actual gentleman himself, despite the fact that the real Psy was promoting his latest single in Singapore at the time.

“Seems like there’s another ME at Cannes...say Hi to him,” Psy posted on his Twitter page.

Carr, who at first glance does bare a striking resemblance to the rapper, walked down the red carpet at the film fest decked out in a stylish suit and Psy’s signature shades while posing with random celebrities and even holding on-camera interviews with the press, fooling crowds of people into believing that he was the real-deal Korean global superstar.

It was later revealed that Carr has appeared on TV in various locations in Europe as a Psy look-alike and that he and his manager had planned this red carpet crashing event in hopes of creating a buzz.
