류현진, 아 아쉽다 ‘5승’

LA 다저스 특급 몬스터 류현진이 호투에도 불구하고 구원투수의 난조로 ‘5승 사냥’에 실패했다.

류현진은 18일(한국시각) 미국 조지아주 애틀란타 터너 필드에서 열린 메이저리그 애틀란타 브레이브스와의 경기에 선발 등판. 5이닝 동안 5피 안타 5 볼넷 5 탈삼진 2실점으로 역투했다.

류현진은 승리투수 요건을 갖춘 뒤, 팀이 4-2로 앞선 6회 초 자신의 타석에서 대타 팀 페데로비츠와 교체됐다.

하지만 류현진의 뒤를 이어 올라 온 구원투수 스티븐 로드리게스가 상대 타자 저스틴 업튼에게 만루 홈런을 맞아 6-4로 역전. 류현진은 결국 승패 없이 평균자책점만 3.40에서 3.42로 조금 올랐다.

류현진은 비록 5승을 올리는데 실패했지만, 이날 타자로서 2타수 1안타 1타점을 올리며 맹활약했다. 특히 2사 1•2루 기회에서 상대 선발로부터 동점 적시타를 치며, 또 다시 숨겨진 타격감을 뽐냈다. 한편, 이날 다저스는 구원진의 난조로 인해 브레이브스에 5-8로 역전패했다. (코리아헤럴드)
