A guided tour of major tourist attractions in Seoul is now available at tourists’ fingertips with the release of a mobile application on 16 places popular among foreign tourists.
The application named “Seoul Walking Tour” enables tourists to explore the city without the help of tour guides as it offers audio service in multiple languages ― English, Japanese and Chinese ― and is installed with GPS service. The application will make city traveling more fun and educational with detailed explanations of each spot.
The KTO is holding an event that offers gifts to those who download the application on iPhone or Android. Users are required to submit a photo that shows the application download and send it by email to ktoapp@gmail.com through May 19.
