LG Electronics released new high-performance earphones dubbed “Quad Beat 2” which is expected to be included in the company’s next flagship smartphone “Optimus G Pro” package.

“Quad Beat 2” is a follow-up model to “Quad Beat,” which has enjoyed popularity with Korean smartphone users as its performance surpassed expectations for standard headphones provided as a part of cellphone package.

The mobile phone manufacturer announced through its official blog on Friday that it successfully developed “Quad Beat 2” to improve middle- and low-pitched output, wearing comfort and overall sound quality from its prequel.

“LG Electronics’ premium smarphone will include the new earphones in the package,” the blog added, hinting that the upcoming Optimus G Pro will be the first one to include the new earphones.

The Optimus G Pro is scheduled to be released in Korea within the first quarter this year.

LG전자가 차세대 플래그십 스마트폰 ‘옵티머스G프로’에 고성능 이어폰 ‘쿼드비트2’를 번들로 포함할 것으로 보인다.
