Harvard University said its recognition of a new club for students who are interested in kinky sex doesn‘t mean the Ivy League school endorses such practices.

Harvard this week approved Harvard College Munch, a low-profile adults-only group that will be allowed to use university meeting rooms and post notices on campus.

School spokesman Jeff Neal told CNN the club went through normal approval channels and, like any of the other approximately 400 student groups on campus, is not officially endorsed or condemned by the administration.

“Applications for recognition are decided by a student-faculty committee following the review of a committee composed of students and administrators,” Neal said.

CNN said The Harvard Crimson got hold of the founder of Harvard College Munch who told them the club had about 30 members seeking to learn about and discuss various alternative sexualities.

Another member told the newspaper the club had strict rules about abusive behavior and would help victims of any abuse find assistance. (UPI)

대학교에 변태클럽 있다!

하버드대학교는 이번 주 "하버드대학교먼치(Harvard College Munch)"라는 인지도 낮은 성인전용 클럽이 학교 회의실을 쓰고 교내에 공고를 붙이는 것을 허락했다.

학교 대변인 제프 닐(Jeff Neal)은 CNN에 클럽이 다른 400여개 교내 클럽들과 마찬가지로 정해진 절차를 따라 승인을 받았으며, 공식적으로 지지를 받거나 비난을 받지도 않았다고 전했다.

"클럽 승인은 학생과 감독선생님들의 의견을 따라 학생회가 결정합니다."

CNN은 하버드대학교 학생신문 "더하버드크림슨(The Harvard Crimson)"은 해당클럽이 다양한 성적 취향에 대해 배우고 토론하려는 회원들이 30명 가량 있다고 전했다.

클럽의 회원 중 한 명은 학생신문과의 인터뷰에서 클럽이 학대 행위에 대해 엄격한 규칙을 지니고 있으며, 희생자를 돕는 활동도 한다고 밝혔다. (코리아헤럴드)
