A former DJ at BBC’s Radio 1 is suspected as being at the center of allegations that she threatened a male colleague who committed suicide last month.

According to the local media, Russell Joslin, a reporter at BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, is believed to have received a series of phone messages from Liz Kershaw after they argued during a meal out together in 2007. The phone messages branded him a “flake” and “a loser.”

Joslin’s family claim he was driven to his death after BBC bosses failed to take seriously allegations that he had been verbally assaulted by a female colleague five years ago.

However, local media has been unable to substantiate these allegations so far as the identity of the woman has remained a secret and Kershaw has not responded to repeated requests from media.

But sources at the BBC and Joslin’s father have identified Kershaw as the woman linked to the Warwickshire police investigation.

Kershaw, now 54, worked at BBC Coventry and Warwickshire between 2005 and 2011.

그러나 BBC의 소식통과 조슬린의 유가족은 공통적으로 워윅셔 경찰 당국이 조사중인 여성이 커쇼와 관련이 있다는 사실을 지적했다.
