The American rapper, comedian and TV personality Nick Cannon will DJ live at the electro lounge Boombar in Itaewon on Saturday.

The multi-entertainer is best known as a former Nickelodeon star, the host of the hit TV audition program “America’s Got Talent” and the husband of R&B icon Mariah Carey.

He first gained fame in the entertainment industry as a teen for his role on the show “All That” and as the host of “The Nick Cannon Show” and “Wild ‘N Out” on Nickelodeon, a top entertainment channel for children. In 2009, Cannon was appointed the chairman and development consultant for TeenNick.

Cannon’s music career began when he was a teenager when he formed the rap group “Da G4 Dope Bomb Squad.” He later released his first self-titled album in 2003, which featured his hit single “Gigolo” featuring R&B artist R. Kelly. In 2010, he formed a new label company, Ncredible Entertainment, which represents artists such as Cory Gunz, School Gyrls and the Rangers.

The night will also feature performances by Fingazz and DJ Nure. Fingazz is a hip-hop musician who has produced tracks featuring hit makers Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg, Ray J, Bizzy Bone and many others. DJ Nure began DJing in at age 11 and began singing, songwriting, producing and choreographing at just 13. Nure has been involved in producing major artists in Asia including the tracks to the Wonder Girls second album, “Wonder World.”

Cannon, along with Fingazz and DJ Nure, will perform live at Boombar on Saturday, Nov. 3. The doors will open at 10 p.m. with a 30,000-won admission fee.
