A hilarious YouTube video showing a petrified U.S. man riding a rollercoaster with his daughter is getting massive response online.

In the video, Steve Fuehne from Tennessee goes on a pendulum-style ‘Screaming Swing’ at an amusement park. True to its name, Fuehne bellows during the entire 1-minute ride.

At one point he shouts to his 10-year-old daughter “Never again, Grace Elizabeth!” as he hangs on to the safety bar for dear life. His screams are so loud that operators stop the ride to offer the man escape from his apparent misery.

However, Fuehne braves himself for another ride in devotion to his daughter, who was exuberant throughout the ride.

“We can really do one more?” he asks disbelievingly. “Oh, take me up again. I’ll do it with you, honey.”

During an appearance on NBC’s Today show Fuehne said that although his biggest fear was heights, he went on the ride thinking, “Well, how bad can it be?”

It turned out he was gravely mistaken.

‘사랑하는 딸을 위해서!’ 아버지의 비명


딸을 위해 고소공포증을 무릅쓰고 롤러코스터를 탄 아버지의 동영상이 인터넷에서 폭발적인 인기를 끌고 있다.

온라인 동영상 공유 사이트 유튜브에 올라온 이 영상에서 미국 테네시에 사는 스티브 퓨니 씨는 한 유원지에 있는 ‘비명 지르는 스윙’이라는 놀이기구에 딸 그레이스와 함께 탑승한다.

평상시 고소공포증이 심한 퓨니 씨는 “뭐, 별 거 있겠어?”란 생각에 놀이기구를 탔다고 한다.

그러나 놀이기구가 움직이기 시작하자 그의 표정은 심하게 일그러지고, 그는 운행시간 내내 목청껏 비명을 지른다. 심지어 옆에 앉아 환호하는 딸에게 “다시는 안 타, 그레이스 엘리자베스”라고 고함을 지르기까지 한다

그의 비명이 어찌나 컸던지 놀이기구 담당자는 급기야 운행을 멈추고 그에게 ‘내리고 싶냐’고 묻기까지 한다.

하지만 퓨니 씨는 사랑하는 딸을 위해 한번 더 타기로 마음을 먹는다.

“얘아, 너랑 같이 가마”라고 그는 딸에게 호기롭게 말한다. 그러나 그의 새하얗게 변한 손은 안전바를 꼭 붙잡고 있었다.
