Jeonbuk Motors’ Brazilian midfielder Enio Oliveira became the fastest K-League player ever to rack up 50 goals and 50 assists after his assist against Daegu FC on Sunday.
The 31-year-old, widely known as “Eninho,” has 69 goals under his belt and provided his 50th assist on Sunday in just 177 games.
The Brazilian player surpassed the record of Russian midfielder Denis Laktionov, who completed the feat in 221 games on March 6, 2005.

Eninho’s record was belatedly acknowledged as his assist to Jung Sung-hoon at Daegu Stadium was not recorded in the books at the time. Eninho is only the sixth player in K-League history to notch 50 goals and 50 assists.
Just last month, controversy surrounded the player after national team coach Choi Kang-hee attempted to have the midfielder specially naturalized to fill his roster for the 2014 World Cup.
However, the Korean Olympic Committee, which makes advisory judgments on such naturalizations, rejected both the initial request and the appeal to grant the player special naturalization.
Eninho debuted in Korea with the Suwon Bluewings in 2003 and later played for Daegu FC from 2007-2008 and has been playing with Jeonbuk since 2009 for a total of seven seasons.
