A 2-year-old North Carolina girl flipped her parents' sport utility vehicle in a neighbor's yard while they were sleeping, authorities said.

The York County Sheriff's Office said deputies responding to a call about a child in the roadway arrived at the intersection of Celanese and Twin Lakes Roads in Rock Hill about 4:30 p.m. Sunday and discovered the Chevy Tahoe on its side in a ditch, WBTV-TV, Charlotte, reported Wednesday.

A witness told deputies he saw the SUV roll out of a steep driveway and make a turn in the road before hitting the curb and flipping on its side in the ditch.

Paramedics said another witness helped the girl, who was unharmed, out of the vehicle and stayed with her until authorities arrived. (UPI)
