A Daegu-based charity group is seeking new volunteers to help with its work in and around the city.
People can sign up for Daegu’s Time to Give database to take part in volunteering opportunities that regularly become available.
The non-profit organization aims to create sustainable projects to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in and around the Daegu city area.
It invites the expat community to get involved in its local volunteer projects, which include helping out at orphanages and children’s welfare centers.
Its work includes helping disadvantaged children with extra tutoring, as well as providing funding for books and learning materials.
People with spare time who are willing to help out are asked to check the organization’s website and fill in a form with their contact details, availability and interests.
