Period drama. Directed by Jang Yoon-hyun. Tanya (Kim So-yeon), a young Korean woman who grew up in Russia and knows how to brew coffee, comes to Joseon with her boyfriend Illichi (Joo Jin-mo), who is also Korean. Shortly after her arrival, she becomes Joseon’s first barista and ends up serving Gojong, the King of Joseon. Gojong has no idea that Tanya and Illichi together carry a secret mission from the Japanese to assassinate the monarch. 


Love Fiction (Korea)

Comedy. Directed by Jeon Gye-soo. Writer Joo-wol (Ha Jeong-woo) has never dated before -- the idealistic and picky 31-year-old has been searching for the “perfect woman.” That perfect woman appears to be Hee-jin (Gong Hyo-jin), a successful, career-driven woman working in the film industry. He instantly falls for her the first day they meet, and desperately tries to win her heart. When he finally does, however, he begins to see Hee-jin’s hidden flaws. 

This Means War (U.S.)

Romance. Action. Directed by McG. Lauren (Reese Witherspoon), a beautiful and successful product-testing executive ends up in a love triangle with two CIA agents. The agents, Tuck and FDR -- played by Chris Pine and Tom Hardy -- are in fact best friends at work. But after finding out they’ve been dating the same woman, the duo starts abusing CIA technologies to find out about Lauren’s personal tastes -- to win her heart.


Helpless (Hwa-cha) (Korea)

Thriller. Directed by Byeon Young-joo. Just one month ahead of their wedding, engaged couple Moon-ho (Lee Seon-gyun) and Sun-young (Kim Min-hee) head off to the countryside to visit Moon-ho’s parents. When Moon-ho returns to their car after getting coffee at a highway service station, Sun-young is nowhere to be found. Her phone is off. After not hearing from her for more than a week, a distraught Moon-ho asks his detective cousin Jong-geun for help. After Jong-geun gets involved, it is revealed that Sun-young emptied her bank account and erased the fingerprints from every object in her house. Soon, Jong-geun begins to suspect Sun-young is somehow involved in a murder. 

Architecture 101 (Korea)

Opening March 22

Drama. Directed by Lee Yong-joo. Seung-min (Kim Soo-hyeon and Uhm Tae-woong), a 20-year-old university student, meets Seo-yeon (Suji and Han Ga-in) while attending his introduction to architecture class. Though he falls for his female colleague, Seung-min does not know how to express his feelings, and ends up not talking to her due to a trivial misunderstanding. Fifteen years later, Seung-min, who now works as an architect, receives a sudden visit from Seo-yeon. She asks if he can design and build a house for her and Seung-min accepts.
