International volunteer group PLUR is seeking acts to perform at an upcoming fund-raiser to support their work.
The Seoul-based organization, whose name stands for Peace Love Unity and Respect, organizes a range of activities to help disadvantaged people.
Weekly volunteering includes helping at a soup kitchen near Sookmyung Women’s University on Friday evenings, giving out bags of food to homeless people at Seoul Station on Sundays as well as helping at orphanages around the city.
The fund-raiser to support its activities will be held at Club TA in Hongdae on May 12. Four bands and an improv act have already been confirmed for the night but organizers are looking for other artists to step forward for the show.
