Those who attended the recent Australia Chamber of Commerce general meeting had a chance to meet the newly elected board of directors.

After brief welcoming remarks from interim chairman Peter Feltis, the Chamber’s patron Australian Ambassador Sam Gerovich explained the importance of the chamber to Korea-Australia relations especially in the context of 2012, when a Korean-Australian free trade agreement could become a reality.

The new board of directors for this year are Feltis from Samsung Engineering, Matthew Holmes from KPMG, Lee Dong-han from Telston, Ough Sung from Western Australia Investment and Trade, Sean Rodrigues from Woodside Energy, Graham Dodds from Exxon Mobile, Jeff Bang from Rio Tinto, Lachlan Winner from J&S Law, Cho Young-in from Pure Commerce, Diana Underwood from Always Work Well, Senior Trade Commissioner at Austrade Martin Walsh and Scott Walker from Blackmores Korea.

The ex-officio positions of the board are Paul Gibbons at the Australian Embassy Economic Counselor and Rod Rothwell, Austcham executive director.
