Donghae voted as most dateable Hallyu star

Donghae, a member of popular boy band Super Junior, was picked by foreign fans as the number one Hallyu star they would date, a survey showed.

According to the survey by broadcaster Arirang TV, Donghae, 26, topped the list of the seven most datable hallyu stars voted on by web users around the world.

The survey, conducted for a month on the entertainment program Showbiz Korea, had 3,278 people participate from countries such as Morocco, Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico.

Donghae is gaining popularity in Asia not only with his music, but also with his acting.

The singer currently appears in the Taiwanese TV drama “Skip Beat” along with Si-won, another member of Super Junior.

Donghae topped the list with 10.8 percent of the votes, followed by Kyu-hyun of Super Junior with 8.1 percent, and G-Dragon of Big Bang with 7.9 percent.

해외 누리꾼들이 가장 데이트하고 싶은 한류스타는 그룹 슈퍼주니어의 멤버 동해라는 설문조사 결과가 나왔다.

19일 아리랑TV에 따르면 연예정보 프로그램 '쇼비즈 코리아'(Showbiz Korea)가 작년 12월 한달간 아리랑TV 홈페이지에서 '데이트하고 싶은 한류스타 베스트 7'을 주제로 설문조사를 벌인 결과 슈퍼주니어의 동해가 1위를 차지했다.

이번 조사에는 모로코, 온두라스, 과테말라, 멕시코 등 세계 각국의 누리꾼 3천 278명이 참여했고 동해는 10.8%(355표)의 득표율을 기록했다.

2위는 슈퍼주니어의 규현(8.1%), 3위는 빅뱅의 지드래곤(7.9%)이 차지했다.

4-6위는 슈퍼주니어의 은혁과 희철, 이특이 차례로 이름을 올렸고 7위는 빅뱅의 탑으로 조사됐다.

아리랑TV는 “슈퍼주니어는 무려 멤버 5명이 7위 안에 이름을 올려 그룹의 인기를 실감하게 했다”고 전했다.
