BRIEF

Indian visa center reopens

Applying for a visa to visit India has been made easier with the reopening of the Indian Visa Application Center.
From now on, the center will handle all visa related matters, types and categories for Korean and foreign nationals wishing to visit India.
The Center is located at the Hyundai Liberty House, 258 Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu.
The office of the Indian Visa Application Center will operate from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on all working days with a lunch break from 1-2 p.m.
All applicants and agents will first have to book an appointment online and fill the online visa application form before visiting to the Indian Visa Application Center.
Fees to acquire a visa must be sent directly to the Indian Visa Application Center’s Bank Account No. 611-021254-904 at the Korean Exchange Bank, before visiting the center.
The entire process takes two days for Korean nationals and seven days for nationals from other countries.
The Indian Visa Application Center will charge a service fee 4,400 won per application, taxes included, on top of the visa fees that range from 67,500 won for a regular tourist visa to 322,500 won.
The center also provides optional services such as SMS status alerts, passport delivery through a courier, and photograph and printing services.
More information can be had by visiting www.blsindiavisa.kr.
The center can also be reached by emailing info@blsindiavisa.kr or by calling (02) 1600-9984.
