We all know cats have nine lives. But this very special and much loved cat was born with two faces.

Frankenlouie, who lives with his owner in Milbury, Massachusetts, has a genetic birth deformity which caused him to grow the extra facial features.

The extraordinary feline's two faces were caused by a condition called Janus, which normally causes cats to live for only a few days. (Daily Mail )

얼굴 두개인 `야누스 고양이`

머리 하나에 두 개의 얼굴을 가진 고양이가 12년째 건강한 삶을 유지하고 있다고 영국 데일리메일이 보도했다.

미국 매사추세츠주에 사는 `프랑켄루이`라는 이름의 이 고양이는 태어날 때부터 하나의 머리에 한 쌍의 귀를 가졌지만 눈 두 쌍에, 코와 입이 각각 두 개씩이다.

`야누스`라 불리는 희귀 증상으로 전문가들은 프랑켄루이가 오래 살지 못할 것이라고 예견했었다.
