Broadcaster SBS apologized for a series of glitches that occurred on Wednesday evening, saying its internal power supply had been temporarily out of order.
“We apologize to viewers for not being able to air our programs smoothly at around 9:30 p.m. on April 20, which occurred due to a problem in the internal power supply,” the broadcaster said on its website.
The broadcaster was airing “LifeMaster” at the time, when the screen went black for two minutes and a clip of figure skater Kim Yu-na’s gala show was aired until 9:38 p.m. Three seconds later, the program returned to normal.
The following drama “49 Days” also experienced several seconds of screen flickering.
The broadcaster also had problems on its radio and DMB programs.
