The French Embassy is accepting applications for 18-25 local students for the Blaise Pascal scholarship scheme.

Launched in 2005, the program encourages talented students from Korean universities to pursue postgraduate degrees in France.

The French government, through the embassy in Seoul, has been providing scholarships of excellence to Korean citizens for more than 55 years, and over 1,650 Koreans have been supported by the French government through scholarship programs.

Tuition fees and the students’ medical insurance are paid by the French government.

Furthermore, the beneficiaries of the program are offered a roundtrip plane ticket plus living expenses amounting to 625-1,070 euros ($873-$1,494) per month.

Applicants must have already been accepted into a master’s or doctorate program in France to enroll for the next academic year.

Online and offline applications are accepted until June 24 at CampusFrance.

Interested students can get more information at www.korea.campusfrance.org.
