Tourism destinations in Kenya have been featured recently on local television stations with inspiring footage of their natural sceneries.

The Kenyan Embassy has announced that as of the new year, new rates for visa applications have been applied.

Single entry visas are now 60,000 won while businesspeople applying for multiple entry visas will pay 120,000 won.

Transit visas are 24,000 won and referral visas are now 12,000 won.

The tourism industry in Kenya is the country’s second largest source of foreign exchange revenue followed by agriculture.

Their main tourist attractions are photo safaris through the 19 national parks and game preserves such as Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru National Park with its millions of flamingos and Nairobi National Park which is the only one of its kind situated in a city.

Other attractions include the mosques at Mombasa; the renowned scenery of the Great Rift Valley; the coffee plantations at Thika; the view from Mount Kilimanjaro across the border into Tanzania; and its beaches along the Indian Ocean.
