Expat comedy group Stand-Up Seoul is hosting U.S. comedian Baron Vaughn on Aug. 16 and 17.
Vaughn plays Leonardo Prince, or “Leo,” on USA’s “Fairly Legal,” and recently released his first album, “Raised By Cable.”
He has performed stand-up on “Conan” and “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and has made several appearances on Comedy Central and in movies.
The nights will be hosted by Rudy Tyburczy and warm-up performances will be provided by local expat comics Sean Calhoun, Albert Escobedo, Wilfred Lee and John Meyerriecks.
The shows will be at the Club Horizon Hall on the 23rd floor of the Renaissance Hotel in Yeoksam.
Tickets are 30,000 won if purchased before Aug. 9 and 35,000 won thereafter, and include a free drink. Contact standupseoul@gmail.com or 010-5630-9855 for reservations.
Stand-Up Seoul will also be hosting its regular monthly open mic night at the Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon on the first Thursday of every month. Entrance is 5,000 won and the show starts at 9 p.m.
