K-pop boy band JYJ will make a comeback with a full-length album to be released in July, their agency C-JeS Entertainment announced Tuesday.

It has been three years since the group released its first studio album, “In Heaven,” in 2001. JYJ’s members -- Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu -- have also pursued solo careers.

“More than seven tracks, written by Korean and foreign artists, will be included on the album. JYJ’s members will write all the lyrics,” an official was quoted as saying. 

Their Korean label unveiled a teaser video titled “The Return of the King” on Monday through its official website, raising fans’ expectations for the trio’s grand comeback. 

This album is attracting more attention than usual as it might be JYJ’s last work before the members begin their mandatory military service.
Meanwhile, the three idols have been building their acting careers by appearing in films, musicals and dramas. 

Jaejoong is currently starring in the MBC-TV drama “Triangle,” while Junsu, regarded as a rising musical star, is gearing up for the musical “Dracula,” opening in July. Yoochun, who played the lead roles in hit dramas including “Rooftop Prince,” will appear in the film “Sea Fog,” set to be screened in August.
