Heechul of the K-pop idol group Super Junior shared his thoughts about Taeyeon and Baekhyun’s relationship.

On the JTBC talk show “Sseol Jeon” broadcast on Thursday, Heechul revealed that he knew about the relationship a month before it was made known to the public.

“What fans were disappointed about with Taeyeon and Baekhyun is that they made fans notice that they were dating before it was officially confirmed,” Heechul was quoted as saying.

“Not all of the proof that they were dating that spread on SNS was all true, but some of it was. I think that made fans angry,” he added.

Heechul also talked about his own opinion of dating.

“If idols are in a relationship, they must not let others notice them dating,” he said. “I always tell others to leave nothing behind. That is why I do not have a single picture taken with a girlfriend.”

Heechul then confessed to his close relationship with both Taeyeon and Baekhyun. “I am close with Taeyeon the most among SNSD members, and Baekhyun in EXO. Both of them were widely known to have a strong bond with their fans, which I think makes their fans more disappointed.”
