Sooyoung, a member of the K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation, is mulling over whether to play a lead role in an upcoming drama. 

Sooyoung is now in talks about terms and conditions after she was offered a lead role in the MBC-TV drama “Spring Days of My Life,” according to showbiz insiders. 

The story of the family drama, directed by Lee Jae-dong, revolves around the female character, who is terminally ill but grabs a chance for a new life after a heart transplant operation. 

“The drama will depict a warm love story that anybody can sympathize with. That’s why we have tried to find the right actor and actresses with qualified acting skills,” said an official from the production team.
“Spring Days of My Life” is set to air from September on MBC following “Fated to Love You.”
