“While the exact date hasn’t been set yet, the reason I couldn’t tell you earlier, I’m going to get married this year. I decided to marry her as she has been supporting me for the last five years and she makes me want to become a better person. I know it’s quite abrupt, but I wish you could give your encouragement and blessing.”
Gummy’s agency C-Jes Entertainment on Friday confirmed that the pair is to marry sometime this fall.
The actor and the singer have been dating since 2013. Their relationship was revealed to the public in 2015. Jo, who is also active as a musical theater actor, rose to stardom with his comic role in the hit movie “Architecture 101,” while Gummy is a widely acclaimed solo artist who debuted in 2003 with the album “Like Them.”
