South Korean slugger Park Byung-ho is putting together quite a campaign to get his major league job back.

Park belted three home runs in a minor league game for the Minnesota Twins' Triple-A affiliate, Rochester Red Wings, against the Pawtucket Red Sox on Thursday (local time) in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Batting fifth as the designated hitter, Park went 3-for-5 with five RBIs. He is batting .286 with nine home runs and 16 RBIs in 21 games in Triple-A, along with an on-base plus slugging percentage of 1.043.

He batted just .190 with no extra-base hits in his first six games in the minors, after getting demoted on July 1. He has turned things around dramatically with eight long balls in his last 10.

With Park going deep in his last three at-bats in a row, Rochester defeated Pawtucket 13-5.

Park left the big league Twins with a .191 batting average and a .684 OPS. He did have 12 home runs in 62 games, but half of them came in April. He hit his last home run on June 18.

The two-time South Korean league MVP joined the Twins before this season. Though he's swinging a hot bat in Triple-A, the Twins already have plenty of first base and DH options with Joe Mauer, Max Kepler, Miguel Sano and Kennys Vargas, who is batting .315 with three homers and seven RBIs in 16 games since his early-July call-up.
