Actress Kim Tae-hee purchased a pricey building near Gangnam Station in southeastern Seoul that brought her boyfriend Rain down a notch in the list of Korean celebrities with most expensive buildings. 

The actress reportedly spent 13.2 billion won ($13.1 million) to buy the Prestige Two Building in the office-packed area near Teheran-ro in Gangnam district. She paid 4.6 billion won through loans and the rest in cash, according to local reports.

Built on a 403-square-meter site in 2011, the building has three basement floors and six ground floors. The realtors estimate that the building will bring the actress approximately 60 million won in monthly rent and 1 billion won in deposits from the tenants.

The purchase earned Kim the No. 4 slot on the list of Korean celebrities with the most expensive building here. Rain, Kim’s celebrity boyfriend and former No. 4, went down a step to No. 5. The actor-singer currently owns a building worth about 12.2 billion won.
