Seven Super Junior-M members will transform into tour guides for Chinese fans on an upcoming reality show that will kick off in September. 

On the first-ever entertainment program exclusively starring Super Junior-M, the idols will offer selected Chinese fans a glimpse of their lives in Korea. 

“Whenever we travel abroad for concert tours, we enjoyed eating and sightseeing. But we did not have any chance to introduce where we live, what we eat to our fans,” Sungmin said Monday at the press conference for the TV show “Super Junior M’s Guesthouse” in Mok-dong, western Seoul. 

“We hope to show more of us to our fans on the show,” he added. 

Six of Super Junior-M members -- Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Sungmin, Zhou Mi and Henry -- will appear on the program. It will feature the idols traveling together with seven Chinese fans around Korea for five days to introduce various aspects of the country.

Each member will prepare their own trips and compete in pairs to win fans’ hearts.

Ryeowook and Sungmin will introduce Korea’s spicy and healthy cuisines, respectively. Eunhyuk will take the fans on a budget trip while Henry will prepare a luxurious trip. Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk are tasked with exploring Korea’s day and night activities.

The members vowed to present the fans with an unforgettable experience by inviting them to their dormitory or cooking for them.  

“It is an opportunity to return the love we received from our Chinese fans. We will try our best to make good memories with them,” Eunhyuk told the reporters. 

Co-produced by Korean broadcaster SBS, talent agency SM C&C and China’s biggest online video company Youkou Todou, the Korea-China joint TV program is set to start airing in September on SBS and its cable channels.  

Debuted in 2008, Super Junior-M is a sub-unit of K-pop boy band Super Junior launched to appeal to fans in Chinese-speaking countries. The band consists of six members from Super Junior and two members, Henry and Zhou Mi, who exclusively perform in the sub-group.
