The ASEAN-Korea Center announced the winners of the 2nd ASEAN Tour Program Development Contest on July 29.
The Contest was organized to promote tourism to Association of Southeast Asian Nations member states among Korean travelers and tap new ideas on different tour routes.
Submissions were made for two routes. One is an inland route while the other will explore the coastal route. In total, 206 tour plans were submitted.

The Grand Prize was given to Jo Eun-hee and Lee Hyung-suk for planning a tour to visit the architectural attractions of Singapore and the Philippines, and Yim Jee-hae and Kim So-hyi, who designed a trip to Laos and Thailand under the theme ASEAN Art.
The two winning programs were noted for their focus and readiness to explore themes of Southeast Asian architecture and art.
The Gold Prize winners were Kang Da-young, Kang Sung-woo, Kwon Aram and Kwon Boram.
Prize winners will be given the chance to explore ASEAN countries according to their tour plan. Awards and prizes were given out to the winners on Aug. 3 at the ASEAN-Korea Center.
