인도에 거주중인 칼페쉬 파텔(41)이 자신의 집 욕실에서 샤워를 하려고 했으나 샤워커튼을 열고 발견한 것은 살아있는 악어였다.
파텔은 악어가 처음에는 살아있는지조차 몰랐다고 했지만 악어가 눈을 깜빡이는걸 보고 문을 닫고 재빨리 도망갔다고 한다. 아내와 아이들에게 욕실에 악어가 있으니 들어가지 말라고 말렸으나 아무도 그를 믿지 않았다.
결국 경찰에 신고를 하여 악어를 말라타지라는 동네 근처에 있는 호수에 풀어줬다고 보도되었으나 악어가 욕실에 어떻게 들어갔는지에 대해 밝혀진 바가 아직까지 없다.

Man freaks out over live crocodile in shower
An Indian man alleged that he discovered a live crocodile in his shower at home, according to the Daily Mail.
Kalpesh Patel, 41, reportedly went to the bathroom to take a shower, and was shocked to find a live crocodile.
He later stated that, at first, he was not even sure if the crocodile was alive, but after seeing the creature blinking he slammed the door shut and ran off. He warned his wife and children not to go into the bathroom because of the crocodile but nobody believed him, which is not surprising.
In the end, Mr. Patel called the police, who took the living reptile to “a lake nearby Malataj village, unharmed,” according to the reports. It is still not known how the animal got into the bathroom.
