Naksan Park, a low-height mountain with trekking trails that overlook the Daehangno area in northern Seoul, topped the list of the best dating spots.

The park, which earned its name from its resemblance to the hump of a camel, or “nakta,” offers great night views of the northern part of the city.

Following Naksan Park were Common Ground, a shopping mall built out of shipping containers in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and Dongdaemun Design Plaza, an exhibition center in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

Others include Santorini, a restaurant in Chuncheon City named after the eponymous popular tourist destination in Greece; Aiinsworld, a theme park in Bucheon City featuring the world’s famous constructs including the Eiffel Tower; Big Ben and La Sagrada Familia.

The Korean start-up, founded in 2010, analyzed a collection of 52,000 reviews put up on Between Date this year based on bookmarks, reviews and the number of points each post received from other users.

“We received a lot of feedback that helped couples understand each other and sometimes heal their broken relationships,” said Kong Jin-gyu, a Between Date project manager.

He added that the team will continue “doing (their) best to discover ideas that help couples grow closer.”
