The world’s most expensive residential apartments at One Hyde Park have been officially put on the auction block by property duo the Candy brothers.

Nick and Christian Candy claim to have sold over 55 of the 86 luxury apartment properties.

On the opening ceremony around 5,000 gold balloons were released from the roof at the Knightsbridge development, which overlooks Hyde Park in London.

More than 350 guests were invited to the launch, including some famous faces including actress Holly Valance and Formula One CEO Bernie Ecclestone, reported the Daily Mail.

One Hyde Park residential costs 6.5 million pounds ($10 m) for a one-bedroom apartment and go up to 140 million pounds ($223m) for a penthouse. The prices, averaging about 6,000 pounds a square foot are the highest ever paid for residential space.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the buildings have shared features including a cinema, a 21 million pound ($33m) swimming pool, saunas, a gym, a golf simulator and a wine cellar. There are eye scanners in the lifts and panic rooms for added security.

한 채 가격이 무려 2,500억원에 달하는 세상에서 가장 비싼 아파트가 베일을 벗었다.

영국의 일간 데일리메일은 19일(현지시간) 세계 최고가 아파트인 런던의 유명 쇼핑거리인 나이츠브릿지에 위치한 ‘원 하이드 파크(One Hyde Park)’가 유명 인사들의 도움으로 공식적으로 모습을 드러냈다고 보도했다.

지난해 말 원 하이드 파크의 펜트하우스는 약 2500억원(1억4000만 파운드)에 팔리면서 세계 최고가 아파트가 됐다.

이 아파트는 스퀘어 피트(약 0.03평)당 가격이 6000파운드(약 1070만원)에 달하는데, 이는 주택으로는 가장 비싼 가격이다. 즉, 1평당 약 3억5700만원인 초고가 아파트인 셈이다.

이날 런던의 가장 비싼 아파트가 주최하는 런칭 파티에는 전 축구선수이자 스포츠해설가인 게리 리네커, 여배우 홀리 밸런스와 포뮬러 원 매니지먼트 회장인 버니 에클레스턴 등 유명인사들이 참석했다.

이날 행사에는 원 하이드 파크 지붕 위에 5000개의 금 풍선이 휘날렸으며, 약 350명이 게스트로 참석했다.

이 아파트의 가격은 최소 650만 파운드(약 116억원)이며 가장 비싼 펜트하우스 가격은 무려 1억4000만 파운드(약 2500억원)에 달한다.

복층 구조인 이 펜트하우스에는 7개의 침실이 있으며, 전체 규모는 총 86채로 구성돼 있다. 하지만 이 가운데 얼마나 많이 팔렸는지, 그리고 아파트의 실제 가격은 얼마인지에 대해서는 절대 비밀이 엄수되고 있다.

단, 정확한 가격은 실제로 구매할 가능성이 있는 고객에 한해서만 극비리에 공개되고 있다.

원 하이드 파크는 24시간 룸 서비스를 통해 언제든지 식사를 할 수 있으며, 24시간 대기의 보안서비스와 비즈니스 도서관, 체육관, 수영장과 스파 시설, 개인 영화관, 스쿼시 코트, 가상 게임 전용룸 등 세계 최고의 서비스가 이뤄지고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
