The country’s No. 2 air carrier said that its lounge, located on the third floor of the departure section at the airport, was named the Priority Pass lounge of the year in Asia-Pacific, after the group conducted an annual online vote.
Priority Pass is the world’s largest independent airport lounge access program that provides information on 600 different lounges in 300 cities of about 100 countries.
Asiana’s lounge in Incheon, which opened on June 2008, has a classical design that seats up to 230 people.
The lounge is equipped with a shower, a number of books in multiple languages, a sleeping area that has an electric massage machine and a high-tech meeting room. It also offers meals and snacks cooked by a chef of a five-star hotel.
In the meantime, this year’s top award ― the world’s best lounge ― went to Finnair’s lounge in Helsinki Airport.
