The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2011, the world’s largest game trade show participated in by local players Nexon and Bluehole Studio, will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 7-9.

Nexon and Bluehole Studio will set up their own booths throughout the exhibition to make public their line-up of online games.

Nexon, which took part in the show for the first time last year, will feature Vindictus, a fighting massively multiplayer online game, and Dragon Nest, another online game that will be introduced in the North American market this year, according to its company officials.

“Both of the to-be-featured games are ones that are gaining a lot of attention from users in North America,” said Daniel Kim, chief executive of Nexon America. “We will work towards turning Nexon America into North America’s No. 1 online game firm through the event.”

Bluehole Studio will also introduce people to TERA, which is an online game targeting the North American market.

Company officials said the firm will focus on explaining the unique characteristics, including the graphics, of TERA, offering them a chance to take part in playing the game.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3, is an event hosted by the Entertainment Software Association and it was opened for the first time in the U.S. in 1995.

For this year, about 210 game related companies from 80 nations are scheduled to take part in E3.

With strong industrial players Sony, Nintendo and Sega part of the trade show, 45,600 people and firms from 90 different countries participated in the expo last year.
