Hyundai Motor on Sunday opened a new website, called “H Tour,” that allows visitors to travel to all 10 global production plants that the carmaker operates in eight countries.
The website at http://tour.hyundai.com offers diverse features such as introduction video clips of each plant and other historical and production details of the facilities and the carmaker overall.
With the latest completion of the Brazil plant in 2012, Hyundai has a global production network connecting Korea, China, India, the U.S., Brazil, Russia, the Czech Republic and Turkey.
The carmaker, touting the online tour program as the first of its kind in the global automotive industry, said it would step up efforts to better communicate with customers online.
The tour is offered in Korean and English, while users also can submit field-trip requests to each plant via the website.
